Well, that took quite a while, didn't it?

Hello, everyone. Is there such a word as everyzero? Because I'm pretty sure no one checks this blog out, lol!

Anyway, I just wanted to blog about something. Wanted to put it in my private blog, but hey. It's something I'd like to share, and no, it's not one of my random, "Y U NO" crap or a GIF of some Red Ranger parading around his friends or anything. It's actually a genuine topic, which is

Death.

You and I, sooner or later, will die. I know you know that, and I know I know that. It's a fact - you see it everyday, on TV and stuff. People dying. Your family members die, your friends die. It's just how the world works.

But do you really understand it when you say you know you're going to die? Do you know what it means to die? It means leaving this world, all your material possessions, even your friends, and perhaps the hardest part is leaving your family behind (assuming you're close with your family, that is).

I dunno how to put this in words, because - well - everyone knows that death will come at some point in their lives. But - but do you understand what it means? You're leaving, it's your turn now! Do you get what I'm trying to say?

It's just funny sometimes. Well, most of the time. When you think of death, sometimes (mostly if you're still young) you would think that, "Yeah, it's a gruesome thing, but my turn is still a long way ahead." Now we all know that that's not true, because death can happen just like that - young or old, once it's time, it's time. Not a second early or late - death will come precisely when it should.

But...do you get what I mean here??

I guess it has - finally - sunk in for me. I am going to die.

This is huge.

This is serious.

Well, it's not like I didn't know I was gonna die - I know I am going to die - but...I just found out I'm going to die!

I came across this very good question once, although I can't quite remember where I found it, or what the exact words were. It's says something like, "Why do you think people are so scared of ghost movies where all the cast members get killed? Why do people run away from that violent serial killer with a knife? It's because we're scared of death. Why else would you run away from it?"

While it's also true that we run away from anything that could potentially hurt and/or kill us because it's our survival instinct, you cannot deny that we do run away from it because we're scared to die.

I know that there are people who would say that they aren't scared of death. Now, they are either a) very, very ready to meet with their Creator, or b) want to appear, I dunno, strong and brave? Well, maybe there are other reasons why people would say they're not scared of death, but I obviously don't know those reasons.

Why shouldn't you be scared of death? It's painful. I hate the thought of being in pain - and the pain you'll feel when you're dying is really intense, right? Even the Angel of Death feels pain when he takes his own life.

Dying also means your time is up. You can't do anything anymore for the hereafter - it's like when the invigilators ask you to put down your pen and stop writing at the end of your final exam. Except, well, death is a huge end of your huge exam - which is life.

Dying means...you have to prepare yourself while you're alive. Hey, it's easier said than done, right? I mean, look at me - I'm 20 this year and I've just recently realised, like, really really realised what it means to die.

But that doesn't make it easier for me to prepare myself for barzakh and the hereafter. It' still so dang difficult to not be lazy. Everyday, I wish I could perform better or concentrate better in my prayers. Sometimes I can concentrate, sometimes I can't.

(...Dad's smoking again. Gotta shut the door. Door's shut!)

Meh, I dunno. This finally came out as a rant, eh? Well, sorry. I just had to share my amazing discovery, which is: WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE.

But I wish to see death as a good thing, you know? Like, death: I'm one step closer to meeting my Creator. Wouldn't it be awesome, to have that kind of mentality? To always be ready to die, whenever, wherever?

Yeah. It took me 20 years to realise all this.

WHOAAAA~~~~~~~~~~

It was only when he had attained a great age
that the youngest brother finally took off the Cloak of Invisibility
and gave it to his son.
And then he greeted Death as an old friend,
and went with him gladly, and, equals,
they departed this life.
(The Tale of the Three Brothers)
Well, not the most appropriate thing to quote, but meh.

Why...

...was Orange Caramel's "Bangkok City" stuck in my head when I woke up this morning?

It's so weird - I've NEVER checked any of their songs on YouTube, and I've only heard a snippet of that song on Music Bank. Weird weird weird. xD

Oh! My brother has a blog now. But it's set to private and only some of his friends can read it. Darn it. He's really trying hard to keep us away from his online life, XD. I mean, he has another facebook account and all. Oh well.

So, yesterday, I bumped into Sara Maira working hard at Billion! Came as a surprise to me, really, because I was just turning the corner and I saw her, and she saw me, and I was like, "Hey, I know this person..." and then AH! It's Sara~! :3 She's on a break and all, so yeah.

Ni makcik Fatin Nabila ni entah bile la nak reply my SMS. She wants to borrow my driving-traffic-rule book thingy because she's gonna sit for the computer test soon, but she hasn't told me yet when we can meet up and stuff. =A=ll

It sure is dusty in here! *sneeze*

WELL HELLO THERE, YOU!

...Whoever you are... XD

Anyway, yeah. I'm just updating for the sake of...updating. I've nothing much to say, really. I have one week of holidays left *tear*.

I haven't updated any of my fanfictions, and I probably won't. Not now, anyway. I dunno, I just don't feel like writing them.

Currently learning David Archuleta's Crush from a YouTube video, also learning JYJ's Nine by ear. I think I can pretty much identify chords and stuff, but the problem is often with making it sound better, like adding intervals and such. I such at that.

Other than that...I made an ASOUE gif! The idea came out of nowhere, really. I was just chillin' on my bed after the trip to Melaka for the engagement, and then it was like - IDEA!! - and I made it. XD Here it is (and, oh, SPOILER WARNING to those who haven't finished reading the series and intend to read the series):

Photobucket

Anyway - GOING TO MIDVALLEY ON WEDNESDAY~!

I honestly don't know what to buy - but MUSIC ESSAY IS ON MY LIST, YEAH!

As for books...I dunno yet, because Along is buying me TONS of books, but I ain't getting 'em til June. I'm thinking Goosebumps because I've been re-reading them! I was in Ujai's room and saw the books on his shelves, dusty and all, and I dunno, I am bored right now (haven't finished Dracula or Gulliver's Travels yet...couldn't bring myself to read them, lol), so I decided to read them.

Once upon a time, those Goosebumps books seemed really long and it took me quite a while to finish them. But now - selak, selak, selak, habis. XD And the stories are simple. If I have a solid idea for a story, I should try to write like that. For young readers, you know.

So yeah. Going to MidValley~! :D

Mood: ecstatic OH YEAH!!!

Blog: REVIVED! XD

Long time no update, ya? XD

So...I dunno what actually made me update this blog, but what the heck, right?

Lately, I've been hit by the K-pop fever...again...lol. You know how things tend to come in seasons, right? Like, at one time you're into Criminal Minds, and at some other time you're suddenly into The Beatles, etc... So right now, I'm REALLY in the mood for DBSK-JYJ/K-pop thingies, and I don't really know why, either!

Been stalking soompi again and stuff -- also I've been stalking Jaejoong's twitter, kekekeke. So DBSK is gonna make a come-back next year, and the album's called Keep Your Head Down. Hmm. I wonder, how are things gonna work out, with only the two of them...aigoo...

---

What else is there to talk about? I'm currently "enjoying" my mid-semester break.

Break la sangat kan...banyak homework kot! Especially EAP!

---

So I'm currently reading Huck Finn again. :D I stopped reading because I had a feeling that it's kind of the sequel for Tom Sawyer, so I read that one first. Now that I've finished reading Tom Sawyer, I'm picking up Huck Finn again~~

---

How come we haven't gone shopping yet? Everyone else has been talking about their shopping trips in Facebook! D:

---

I was on Omegle.com earlier today. It's so frustrating how people don't know DBSK!

At last, I stumbled upon a Korean girl. XD Well, at least she said she's Korean...but I believe her because of her, err, weird English and the frequent usage of (^^) and also "kekekeke".

I said she is lucky for being Korean and for being able to understand the lyrics, and she said I'm lucky for being fluent in English. XD

Oh well.

---

That's the bag I use at college (it's actually Along's~). I recently made that key chain~ One side of it says TVXQ, and the other side says JYJ~~

I WAS TAGGED! XD

Sorry, this isn't the full "questionnaire", I don't have the time (yet) to do this stuff... But one question really did stick to my head and I've thought of the answer:

3. Dimana tempat korang nak melangsungkan perkahwinan korang dan tema perkahwinan korang nanti?
-Dalam dewan!! Biar my guests tak kena kemuncup kat kain/seluar diorang~
-I dunno much about the theme, but some things I do know are: saya tanak bunga rampai, tepung tawar, pertunjukan silat, bersanding, and you can keep your hantarans, especially the daun sirih ye~~~.

:D
