Just because we're not taking the glamorous courses, doesn't mean we're stupid.
I especially hate it when Sir Mahathir said it's okay that our class didn't do well in the previous biology mid-semester exam. He said it's because we're Allied Health Science and Nursing students, so our CPU is slower.
What the F, excuse me, do repeat that again, please thank you?
Way to discourage your students, sir. I find it very insulting. I really do. I could so take Pharmacy or Dentistry if I wanted to, and I'm sure plenty of other students could do that, too. Just because I prefer to become an optometrist over a doctor and take the less glamorous course, it doesn't mean you get to call my CPU slow.
I just bet my ass that there are Medic/Pharmacy/Dentistry students who screwed their mid-semester exam. I bloody hell got 94% for my biology mid-semester exam, okay. And there are those who got 92% and 88% in my class -- do NOT call us slow.
Sir Azrul also said something similar. He was surprised that a nursing student got 100% in my class for the maths mid-semester exam. He said that as if it was some sort of a miracle or something. Well, so what if a nursing student can do maths better than medic students can? Why are you surprised? Glamorous courses =/= smart students. Get that through your heads.
Yang amek medic tu pon blom gerenti ada talent nak jadik doctor. Tengok2 sampai tahun 3, fail, terus bukak kedai makan aje. Harap glamour course je, khaaaakk-ttuii!
I honestly don't understand why so many people want to become doctors. Even in high school, a classmate of mine wanted to become a doctor -- I'm sorry to say this, but his/her biology marks weren't even good. I think it's because it's a glamorous job to have. Like, your kids can go,
"My dad/mum's a doctor~" *proud*
Whatever la wei. Jangan ikut glamour je. Kang kalau tak dapat bawak, diri tu jugak susah.

From The New Straits Time
I cut out this news from the newspaper. lol.

According to an IIUM statement yesterday, Khalidah was also recognised as one of the top ESL speakers.
Tel Aviv University in Israel emerged champion of the world's largest debating tournament in the ESL category.
The championship saw the participation of 392 universities including Harvard, Yale, Monash, Oxford Union and Cambridge Union.

Random
Being a student can be difficult at times. I've been in situations where I can't really digest what the lecturers are saying in class. For example, when Sir Mahathir explained about glycolysis or the citric acid cycle. Memang blur habis weh.
It happened again yesterday when he talked about DNA replication. Haha. Nonetheless, I will do my post-class reading... (later lah~)

I've made up my mind about my favourite makcik kantin here. HAHA, random, right?
Okay, here we go: I like the makcik at the mihun/bubur/nasi ayam stall and the one in charge of goreng pisang and cekodok and keropok lekor in the evening the best.
I like the former because she has a stong sense of justice, as in, you'll REALLY have to wait in line. Let's say there's a person in front of you and you just say to the makcik, "Cik, mihun sup satu!", she will say, "Nanti dulu dik," before asking the person in front of you what she wants. First come, first serve.
I like the latter because she's got this kind face. Simple explanation.
The makcik who wears glasses and is usually in charge at the paying counter is OK, too, but she looks garang. XD I think she's from Perak (conclusion is based on her accent, lol).
The pakcik who's in charge of the drinks rarely smile or say anything to people. He just points at you to ask what you want, and nods when he gets your order. Haha.
And then there's the kakak who's in charge of the burger stall. She's OK.
The new pakcik in charge of the burger stall is...meh. Sometimes I compare the speed of his burger-making skills to the kakak burger. He's slower. XD
And lastly, I just noticed that there's a new makcik in charge at the mihun stall and the burger stall. Yesterday, the makcik mihun with a strong sense of justice was monitoring her when I came to place my order. Today, she's in charge of the burger stall. She's quite slow, too, when compared to the rest of the makciks (yang kadang2 buat kerja diorang dengan muka blur dang bosan...macam automatik je tangan tu buat kerja). I guess the new makcik will have to get used to it before she can pull the I'm-Bored face while doing her job.

Today, something funny happened in arabic class. The ustaz in the next class got angry at his students, I guess, and began spitting out angry arabic shouts while hitting the white board.
The classes at LY are separated by walls that aren't made of bricks...you know, like, in tuition centres? When there's one large room, and then someone divides it into several classes by placing these walls? Yeah.
So when the ustaz hit the white board, the walls began to shake a bit. Ustaz Zahari, who was in the middle of explaining how a madhi form of a word is transformed to its mudhari' and amar forms, paused and made a surprised look as the shouts began. Then he laughed and, when he resumed the lecture, used a lower voice. Kononnye takut ustaz sebelah tu dengar and marah dia pulak kot. XDD

I said, what time izzit nao??
Two~A~M~!
Haha.
Does 2AM have any catchy lines like 2PM does?
Speaking of 2PM, I've seen the MV of their latest song. It's called Colour, I think. Or My Colour. Or izzit Color? My Color? Yeah, something like that.
I thought Chansung looked NIIIIIIICCCEEE...
I wonder what colour Jay would be if he were still apart of 2PM. Blue? But let's say the phone only comes in 6 colours and there are 7 of them...would they still be doing the MV, which is also a commercial for the phone? Hm.

We still haven't gotten our mid-semester biology papers back. Pfffft.... =____=lll

I still don't get why people sent invitations to become friends in online communities even when they don't even know that person. Like, I've gotten several and they just kept coming.
Like, why on earth would I add you?? Psh.

By battery's running low. Malas la nak masang the wire thingy. And I've got class at 8 tomorrow. So, yeah. I think that's it for today. 8-)
