Thank you, Anonymous Nerdfighter.

You made me smile a lot today. Above is a picture of a note I found in my copy of "Paper Towns" (well, technically it's my sister's, since she bought it through Amazon.com).

It's a simple note, but it made me happy today - and I've had a tiring day! The note says, "Reading this book will decrease World Suck. Nerdfighters.com."

You see, this note made me super-duper happy because I live in Malaysia, where it's kinda difficult to find another Nerdfighter - there's a Facebook page for Malaysian Nerdfighters, and that's pretty much it. Maybe it's just that I haven't managed to find a Malaysian Nerdfighter yet....

Anyway, whatever it is - I wasn't expecting to get a Nerdfighter note since my sister bought it online (as mentioned earlier). I thought it's only possible to get these notes in library books or in books purchased directly from a bookstore - not online - but clearly this isn't the case~ :D

I was leafing through the book since the upper corner or the pages were kinda folded (and I disliked that, D: ), so while I unfolded the corners, I flipped through the pages - and I found the green note! I immediately smiled~

I was reading the book after my 3-hour class - which started at 8am, on MONDAY! - so I was kinda tired and sleepy, and I still had another four hours of classes later that day. I was feeling rather unenthusiastic about going to class (chemistry, then maths), so needless to say, the note cheered me up A LOT.

So, thank you, Anonymous Nerdfighter who posted that note in one of the many copies of John Green's Paper Towns. You've made me smile and you're the reason I managed to survived my Monday classes. :D

Now Imma go read the book before continuing my chemistry revision (I just finished revising the haloalkanes topic - next up: alcohols and carbonyl compunds! What fun~! xD)

NERDFIGHTERS FTW!!

*UPDATED* I watched a Quidditch match LIVE, so don't get jealous. :D

Yes, there was a Quidditch match, Gryffindor vs Slytherin, LIVE on Stickaid2010!

Of course, Gryffindor won~ :D

Just a short introduction: Stickaid is an annual charity thing conducted by Myles Dyer. This year, Charles McDonnell, or Charlie/charlieissocoollike, is also hosting the event. They (Charlie and Myles) are trying to stay up for 24 hours, and at the moment, they still have around 3+ hours to go.

Also there at the event are Charlie's friends/band members, Alex Day (yeeeah, he's back from Zambia -- he was there for another charity event), Tom Milsom and Edd Plant (Sons of Admirals).

While they're up all day, viewers can submit challenges for them to do, and they'll do it if the viewers managed to donate a certain amount of money.

The challenges were AWESOME, I loved it. So many crazy thing happened, and the craziest is probably the death of Mr. Bun. Charlie murdered Mr. Bun. D: Mr. Bun is a creation of Myles, who was probably losing his mind, being deprived of sleep and all -- he drew eyes and a mouth using a marker pen on a bun and called it Mr. Bun.

Later, Tom Milsom brought Mr. Bun to life by voicing it from behind the couch.

And much, much later, when trying to keep everyone awake, Mr. Bun was announcing to the viewers that he has a facebook and twitter and youtube account, when suddenly Charlie bit Mr. Bun from behind, before eating his face.

(Charlie, that thing had INK in it...)

Mrs. Bun later appeared, but was sat on.

R.I.P Mr. and Mrs. Bun. :(

What else did they do?

Earlier on, they did John Green's "Fitness for Nerds" workout, and it was awesome. The best part of this is when Hank Green began to watch and donated to Stickaid~

They waxed their legs, Myles smashed eggs using his head, Charlie and Myles wrestled each other (and Charlie lost quite quickly, LOL), they tried to tape Charlie to the wall, but the tape wasn't strong enough, they put makeup on, bleached Myles' hair when they reached their target of £10,000.00.

We also got to watch Charlie record a video of 'Challenge Charlie', which he will later post on YouTube. He tried speaking in an American accent, and it was rather good. His voice went all high-pitch when he did the American accent, XD.

Sons of Admirals also performed Here Comes My Baby, and they were really good.

Later, Charlie performed two songs, "Blink" and "Song About Acne" when the donation was raised up to 16,000+ pounds.

They really do seem and sound tired now, and they're having a break at the moment.

I did hope they'd do a prank call to either of the Green Brothers, but oh well. At least I got to watch the Quidditch game!

But it's too bad that Twitter decided to be a jerk and suspended most of the viewers account for tweeting #stickaid -- Twitter thought that we were spamming. Stickaid is a legit charity event, you Decepticons! They also took off #stickaid from the Trending Topics World Wide when it was on number 4, and took of 'Myles' when that reached Trending Topics as well.

And yeah, my account was suspended too. D:<

#twitterhatescharities !

*UPDATE*

We're in the last hour now, and they're going to re-enact "The Mysterious Ticking Noise" from Potter Puppet Pals. Poor Myles is all confused. XD

But they're doing it, WOOHOOO!

*UPDATE*

The Mysterious Ticking Noise was a MESS! XD But it was FUN~! XD

P/S: And we've discovered through Stickaid2010 that Charlie is a bad dancer. XD
